Your day on the road, step by step
The day before
Reminders go out at the times you chose (for example 24 hours before), by text, email or both. Each client confirms or cancels with a link, and the calendar marks confirmed appointments with a green band. A cancellation leaves you time to fill the gap.
In the morning
Open the map of the day’s route. Stops are numbered; drag them to change the order, then start navigation with “Open in Google Maps”.
At the client’s
On your phone, the pet’s record shows breed, behaviour, allergies, cut preferences and important notes. After the groom, note the condition on arrival, the cut done, the products used and add up to 8 photos.
After the groom
The invoice includes the service, surcharges and travel fee, with taxes. Email it to the client, take payment with your usual terminal and mark it paid.
The next appointment
When an appointment is completed, Groomi suggests the next one based on the pet’s frequency (every 6 weeks, for example). You can also schedule a series of appointments at once.
The pet’s file in your pocket
Groomi opens in your phone’s browser, with no app to install. You get the same record as at the desk: contact details, pets, visit and price history.
Setting your travel fees
Each client has a mode: a fixed amount, per kilometre, free, or the default settings (a base fee plus a per-kilometre rate). A fixed amount reassures a client who books often; a per-kilometre rate follows long drives better. The calculated amount appears on the invoice as its own line.
Drive time counts too: Groomi places a travel buffer before and after each mobile appointment, which you adjust in the calendar.
New clients before the first visit
Send the link to the new-client form. The client enters their contact details and their pet’s (breed, weight, coat, allergies, health issues) and signs your documents online. Their request shows up in Groomi’s notifications and you create the file from it.
On your own or with several vans
Each groomer has a column in the calendar, working hours and their own route on the map. Users are unlimited. The price stays $49.99 a month, whatever the number of groomers.
